CTEC / Ace 2019

Advanced Construction Education (ACE) is a privately funded non-profit organization that partners with the Career Technical Education Center (CTEC) in the Salem-Keizer school district. This partnership gives construction students the opportunity to build a house. Students learn construction skills in the classroom as well as on the job site. Annually, ACE purchases a lot on which a single family residence will be constructed. Students are supervised by an experienced, licensed, and bonded Oregon based contractor. Each year a local contractor helps manage the build. Sunco Homes & Remodeling managed the builds in 2019 and 2020. For more information, visit ctec.salkeiz.k12.or.us.
